Are you afraid to find difficulties during airport security checks because of your prosthesis?
The Italian Arthroplasty Registry (Riap) has released a facsimile of a medical certificate in two languages (Italian and English) that your doctor can use and report on his/her letterhead, fill it, date it and sign it. You can then show this certificate to the officials at the airport controls so that they know that you have an implanted device containing metal parts that can activate airport security systems.
